Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to develop and execute sales strategies to expand our presence within the OEM market. The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions. This role requires technical expertise and the ability to provide application support and training to integrators.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand presence within the OEM market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with system integrators across target industries.
- Provide technical expertise, application support, and training to integrators to ensure seamless implementation.
- Achieve sales objectives and financial targets, contributing to overall revenue and profitability goals.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely quotations for various sales channels.
- Provide technical support and pre-sales product education to customers.
- Actively prospect for new customers and market opportunities.
- Coordinate and expedite rush orders, manage change orders, and oversee shipping data.
- Deliver technical product presentations and represent the company at trade shows.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and new product opportunities to drive business growth.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience with a strong understanding of professional sales processes.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or related fields (relevant work experience may be considered).
- Knowledge of industrial rotating equipment, hydraulics, and electrical machinery.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of OEM sales cycles and business models.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with business development and account management.
- Technical expertise in related fields.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position with domestic and international travel required to meet clients, accounting for 25%-50% of the time. Candidates must be able to manage extended travel periods, including overnight stays and multiple day-trips.
