Job Description

We are seeking a certified and licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our team onsite in Mechanicsville, VA. This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential to become a permanent role. This opportunity is perfect for newly certified technicians looking to gain experience in the pharmacy field.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
• Verify and enter prescription information into the system
• Manage inventory and ensure medications are stored properly
• Fulfill medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain patient records and handle customer inquiries

Essential Skills

• Virginia Licensed Pharmacy Technician
• Minimum of 6 months of experience
• Proficiency in pharmacy operations and fulfillment processes

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification
• Pharmacy technician license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Work Environment

The work environment is a Fulfillment Center offering a quality of life improvement compared to retail settings. The schedule includes multiple shift options: Sunday to Wednesday (5am – 3pm), Wednesday to Saturday (5am – 3pm), and Sunday to Thursday (3:30pm – 11:30pm).
