Job Title: Sr. Project Manager


Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Lead to manage projects in our Energy and Water Resource groups. This role involves collaborating with multiple disciplines throughout the organization to execute on current projects related to fish passages, hatcheries, and various systems on dams. You will take an established book of business to drive delivery with various customers throughout the Northwest.


Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of experts across various disciplines including structural, mechanical, electrical, biology, and hydraulics to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Grow and integrate the team internally, ensuring seamless collaboration and project execution.
  • Work closely with clients and the public, including Native American tribes, wildlife agencies, fish and game departments, and the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
  • Oversee heavy structural projects related to fish passage, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage hatcheries projects, leveraging expertise in wildlife and fish management.

Essential Skills

  • Hydraulic design experience.
  • Mechanical design experience.
  • Experience with dams, fish elevators, fish passages, and fish hatcheries.
  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental engineering, or experience in biology.
  • Ideally 12 years of experience (8 years of experience will be considered).
  • Strong experience managing projects in fish elevators, fish passages, dams, or fish hatcheries.
  • Project management, program management, and project leadership skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with regulatory compliance in heavy structural projects.
  • Ability to engage with a diverse range of clients and public entities.

Work Environment

Our flexible work model ideally allows candidates to come into the office a few times a week, but this is not a fully remote position. There is occasional travel throughout the Northwest for client and project visits, which candidates can schedule based on convenience. While candidates from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho are preferred, we are open to considering candidates from anywhere in the US.
