Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator


Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Supply Chain Coordinator for a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension and potential for contract-to-hire. This role offers a flexible start time and the opportunity to make a significant impact on our logistics and supply chain operations within the healthcare sector.


Responsibilities

  • Cross-train in the receiving dock to handle distributions.
  • Assist inventory coordinators when not needed in the receiving dock.
  • Utilize a computerized MMIS (Materials Management Information System) and associated hardware/software to conduct physical inventories and replenish supply areas (such as patient care and ancillary areas).
  • Receive incoming stock and non-stock freight and parcel shipments, and put away inventory items.
  • Prepare and coordinate outgoing parcel and freight shipments.
  • Process fax, phone, electronic order entry, and walk-up supply requests in the MSC (Materials Service Center).
  • Enter data into the MMIS to inventory, pick, deliver, and stock products with high accuracy to ensure accountability for all products and equipment in the MSC.
  • Deliver stock and non-stock products and packages to the appropriate departments/areas.

Essential Skills

  • 1 year of experience with inventory systems, receiving, warehousing, and/or supply distribution using a computerized MMIS in a perpetual inventory system within the previous three years.
  • Experience in healthcare inventory management.
  • Proficiency with material-handling equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Coursework/Training in inventory and supply distribution management.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with material handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jack, etc.).
  • High School diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

This role is based in a warehouse environment. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended, and medical scrubs are provided onsite.
