Process Technician

Job Description

The Process Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in assembly operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing solutions and provide high-quality, cost-appropriate services that satisfy customer requirements and apply process improvement or troubleshooting as needed.
• Use appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production.
• Demonstrate a basic, discipline-specific understanding of how to support the full manufacturing processes, product requirements, and specifications.
• Execute responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and manufacturing processes.
• Provide support to direct production line operators.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Communication and people skills
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), specifically Critical Manufacturing
• Ability to communicate professionally with engineering and empathetically with production, cross-functional teams, and programming

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of one (1) year completed of an Associate's degree OR the completion of a Diploma in a discipline related to Electronics, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
• One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical inclination
