Description

Our customer is currently looking for an ABAP Developer to join their team on a contract basis. They are in the middle of an SAP expansion project with S4. During this current phase they are expanding into manufacturing and sales and are replacing several legacy systems. This current phase of the project is consuming all of the bandwidth of this team. Their Sr Dev and Architect typically handle all of the development on this team, but they are now to the point of being overextended, so this person will be coming in to help free them up to focus on other portions of this phase of the project.

This person will be working in several different modules of SAP including SD, Finance, and Manufacturing modules. In their environment, they have several non-SAP tools across multiple work streams that are communicating on a minute by minute basis to push data to SAP. They also have several subscription-based products that their customers are using with data from those products constantly flowing into SAP. Their salesforce is using SAP for every customer interaction and e-commerce orders are also flowing through SAP. They have heavily customized processes with ABAP

Their ideal candidate will be strong with ABAP and integrations using BTP, and understand how data flows into SAP and how the data works within SAP. Must have S4 experience and have experience in SD, Finance, and Manufacturing.

They are working on 2 week sprints using Jira. All requests will funnel through BAs on the sales and finance side and will be entered onto the Jira board and then will be allocated to the team by the Architect. If clarity on tasks/tickets is needed this Developer will work with the Architect or Sr Devs to gain clarification.
