Responsibilities
As an CNA, you will care for guests under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse. Some responsibilities include:
<ul>
<li>Take and record vital signs.</li>
<li>Measure and record height and weight, intake and output.</li>
<li>Care for the guests’ environment.</li>
<li>Assist with bathing, grooming and toileting.</li>
<li>Assist with eating and hydration.</li>
<li>Observe guests’ skin when administering care and reports changes to licensed nurse; provide skin care as needed.</li>
<li>Meet guests’ mental health and social service needs.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Complete diet history/food preference screening upon guest admission.</li>
<li>Develop, maintain and implement menus specific to the guest population.</li>
<li>Maintain kitchen cleanliness compliant with State and Federal guidelines.</li>
<li>Supervise purchasing in the dietary department specific to the facility budget.</li>
<li>Manage all aspects of kitchen operations including procurement, sanitation, scheduling, training, talent development and QAPI.</li>
<li>Cooperate with other departments to identify and accommodate guests’ choices, preferences and customary routines regarding eating.</li>
<li>Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation of dietary portion of guest care plans.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Certified Dietary Manager Certification or experienced Dietary Manager.</li>
<li>ServSafe Certification required within 90 days of employment.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Prefer two-year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting focused on planning, preparing and servicing regular and therapeutic diets.</li>

<li>Assures documentation is accurate and timely in MDS care plans.</li>

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
<ul>
<li>Supervise the care/services provided by the Certified Nursing Assistants and other team members who care for  the residents</li>
<li>Provide nursing care of residents on the unit assuring all residents receive appropriate care. </li>
<li>Provide safe and accurate Medication Related interventions to residents.</li>
<li>Assess the health of residents and notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement new orders. </li>
<li>Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care. </li>
<li>Select and institutes appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a resident’s condition and /or prevent complications.</li>
<li>Contribute to the resident’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a plan of care.</li>
</ul>
Education and/or Experience for LPN:
<ul>
<li>Demonstrates knowledge of basic nursing practice with an interest in gerontological nursing.</li>
<li>Prefer 2 years experience in a long term care setting.</li>
</ul>
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

<li>Must have a current state license to practice as a licensed practical nurse (LPN).</li>
