Description

The Inventory Audit Associate will support our distribution center by performing detailed audits on both inbound and outbound orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality. This role includes verifying product counts, ensuring compliance with order specifications, and, when necessary, repacking and reassembling orders to maintain high standards.
• Order Verification:
o Conduct audits on inbound and outbound orders, verifying product counts, SKUs, and packaging against order specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
o Identify and document any discrepancies, such as shortages, overages, or incorrect items, and escalate issues as needed.
• Repack and Reassembly:
o Unwrap, unpack, and inspect wrapped orders when discrepancies are identified, verifying accuracy and quality.
o Reassemble, restack, and re-palletize orders as required, ensuring correct order alignment and secure wrapping for shipment.
• Quality Assurance:
o Inspect the condition of packed and palletized products to confirm that they meet quality and handling standards.
o Ensure labeling and documentation accuracy, maintaining compliance with both company and customer requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting:
o Keep accurate records of all audited orders, documenting findings in tracking sheets or audit reports.
o Collaborate with supervisors and team members to address and resolve any discrepancies identified during audits.
• Coordination with Operations Teams:
o Communicate with pick, pack, and receiving teams to prevent and resolve order accuracy issues.
o Act independently within the audit role to uphold objective standards in the quality and accuracy of inbound and outbound orders.

Work Environment

Shift: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm \*\* While our usual hours are Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, the bulk of this audit work tends to be between Tuesday and Friday, and the role may vary between 20 to 30 hours per week, depending on order volume.
Distribution warehouse environment.

One thing to note: our order flow isn’t always uniform. • Highly detail-oriented, with strong observational skills to detect discrepancies and ensure accurate auditing.
• Basic knowledge of inventory processes, warehouse operations, and safe handling procedures.
• Strong documentation skills, with the ability to record findings accurately and maintain thorough records.
• Physical capability to perform repacking, reassembling, and palletizing tasks as required.
• Previous experience in warehouse, inventory management, or quality control is preferred but not mandatory.
